openph is committed to protecting the personal data of every Filipino player on our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used and protected, who it may be shared with, and what rights you hold as a data subject under Philippine law. Please read this document in full before using the openph platform.
openph collects personal data you provide at registration, during KYC verification, through payment transactions, and through your activity on the platform. We collect only what is necessary for lawful operation and compliance.
All personal data is protected using industry-standard 256-bit SSL encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel on a strict need-to-know basis.
openph does not sell personal data. Data is shared only with licensed payment processors, game studio partners under data processing agreements, and Philippine regulatory or law enforcement authorities where legally required.
As a data subject under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to access, correct, erase, object to processing, and port your personal data. Requests may be submitted to our Data Protection Officer at any time.
openph uses strictly necessary, functional, and analytics cookies to operate the platform and improve your experience. You can manage non-essential cookie preferences from the platform's cookie settings panel.
openph retains personal data for the periods required by PAGCOR licensing, AMLA regulations, and applicable Philippine law. Data no longer required is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with our retention schedule.

Some third-party services embedded in the openph platform — including game content iFrames from licensed studio partners — may set their own cookies governed by those partners' privacy policies. openph requires all studio partners to comply with applicable Philippine and international data privacy standards under their data processing agreements.
openph does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for that party's own marketing or commercial purposes. Personal data is disclosed to third parties only in the following circumstances:
The openph platform is primarily operated from and for the Philippines. Where personal data is transferred to or accessed by service providers or partners located outside the Philippines — for example, internationally-headquartered game studio partners — openph ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with the DPA's requirements for cross-border data transfers.
Such safeguards include the execution of standard contractual clauses that impose data protection obligations on the receiving party equivalent to those required under Philippine law, and restriction of data access to the minimum necessary for the legitimate processing purpose.
openph retains personal data for the periods set out below, after which data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized:
Where retention beyond the periods above is required by a specific legal obligation, regulatory instruction, or ongoing litigation, openph will retain the relevant data until that obligation is satisfied.
openph implements technical and organizational security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal data it processes. Key security measures include:
As a data subject under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you hold the following rights in respect of your personal data held by openph. These rights may be exercised by contacting our Data Protection Officer using the details in Section 15.
You have the right to request confirmation of whether openph holds personal data about you, and to receive a copy of that data along with information about how it is being processed. openph will respond to access requests within fifteen (15) business days.
You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data held by openph. Certain data (such as your registered legal name) may require supporting documentation to amend in order to preserve KYC integrity.
You may request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, where you withdraw consent (for consent-based processing), or where processing is unlawful. This right is subject to openph's legal retention obligations under AMLA and PAGCOR regulations, which may require retention of certain data even after Account closure.
You have the right to object to processing of your personal data carried out on the basis of legitimate interests — including direct marketing. Where you object to marketing, processing for that purpose will cease immediately. Objections to other legitimate interest processing will be assessed against the grounds stated.
You have the right to receive personal data you have provided to openph in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and to request that such data be transmitted directly to another data controller where technically feasible.
If you believe your data privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines. openph encourages you to contact our DPO first so we may address your concern directly; however, your right to approach the NPC directly is unconditional.
To exercise any of the above rights, submit a written request to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details in Section 15. openph may require verification of your identity before processing your request to protect against unauthorized access to another person's data.
The openph platform is strictly restricted to individuals aged twenty-one (21) years and above, in compliance with applicable Philippine gaming regulations. openph does not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the age of 21. Where openph identifies that personal data has been provided by an individual below the required age, that data will be deleted immediately, the Account will be terminated, and any funds will be returned to the source payment method following compliance review.
If you believe that a minor has registered an Account on the openph platform using false age information, please contact our support team at [email protected] immediately so that remedial action can be taken.
openph may send you promotional offers, bonus notifications, event invitations, and other marketing communications where you have provided explicit consent at the point of Account registration or through your Account notification preferences. Marketing communications are sent via SMS to your registered Philippine mobile number and/or by email.
You may withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time by: (a) updating your notification preferences in your Account settings; or (b) clicking the unsubscribe link included in any email marketing communication; or (c) replying STOP to any marketing SMS message. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect your receipt of transactional communications (account security alerts, deposit/withdrawal notifications) which are sent on the basis of contractual necessity.
openph processes gaming activity data — including bet history, session duration, deposit frequency, and win/loss patterns — for responsible gaming monitoring purposes. This processing is carried out on the basis of openph's legal obligations under PAGCOR's player protection framework and our legitimate interest in identifying and supporting players who may be exhibiting signs of problem gambling.
Data processed for responsible gaming purposes includes: sessions flagged by behavioral monitoring algorithms, player-set limit preferences and their change history, self-exclusion records, and support interactions related to responsible gaming. This data is retained in accordance with the retention periods in Section 8 and is accessible to openph's responsible gaming compliance team only.
Players who self-exclude from the openph platform will have their personal data retained for the purpose of enforcing the exclusion and preventing re-registration, even if the Account is otherwise closed. For more information on available responsible gaming tools, visit our Responsible Gaming page.
openph reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in applicable Philippine law, regulatory requirements, or our data processing practices. Material changes — those that affect the nature of data collected, the legal basis for processing, or your rights as a data subject — will be communicated to registered Players by email to their registered address no less than fourteen (14) days before the change takes effect.
Non-material amendments (such as typographical corrections, clarifications, or formatting changes) may be made without advance notice. The "Effective Date" at the top of this Policy indicates the date of the most recent version. We recommend bookmarking this page and reviewing it periodically.
Your continued use of the openph platform after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the amended Policy, you may request Account closure before the effective date.
For any questions, concerns, or requests relating to this Privacy Policy or the exercise of your data subject rights, you may contact openph's Data Protection Officer using the following details. All contact information is provided as plain text only:
openph's DPO is registered with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines as required under the Data Privacy Act. Responses to data subject rights requests will be provided within fifteen (15) business days of receipt. Complex or high-volume requests may require an extension of up to thirty (30) days, in which case you will be notified of the extension and its reason.
